Windows beta

Motionscript,
on your own machine.

The desktop app is in beta on Windows, for x64 and ARM64 PCs. It opens on a workspace rather than a sign-in: a project can stay a folder on your disk, and nothing leaves the machine unless you ask it to. Cloud workspaces open by invite; join the waitlist for one.

What you get

Everything the browser build has, plus three things a browser cannot do.

Local workspaces
A project is a folder you picked: scenes, assets and all. No row reaches our database, so no account and no plan is involved at any point.
Your own agent
The assistant panel can drive Claude Code, or another agent you already have installed that speaks the Agent Client Protocol, signed in with your own account.
Works offline
The editor, the render and the export are all local. A cloud workspace syncs when there is a connection and waits when there is not.
Before you run it

The beta installer is not signed yet.

We have applied for a code-signing certificate, and the builds will be signed once it is issued. Until then Windows has no publisher to show you, so it warns before the first launch.

“Windows protected your PC”

That is SmartScreen, and it appears because the installer has no signature. Check the SHA-256 above if you want to be sure of what you have, then choose More info and Run anyway.

Smart App Control blocks it outright

On Windows 11 with Smart App Control turned on, an unsigned app is blocked with no Run anyway button and no per-app exception. Turning Smart App Control off is a system-wide change, and on some versions of Windows it cannot be turned back on without reinstalling. If you would rather not, use the web app until the signed build ships.
